Warranty

Every Grisoll smart lock comes with a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing faults, from the date of delivery. If something goes wrong because of a fault in materials or workmanship, we'll repair or replace it free of charge.

What's covered

  • The smart lock's exterior and interior panels, electronics, fingerprint reader, keypad, motor and handles
  • Mortise lock bodies, cylinders and accessories supplied by Grisoll, including the WiFi Gateway
  • Faults that appear under normal household or light commercial use, fitted as described in the instructions

What isn't covered

  • Batteries, which are consumables
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, forced entry, incorrect fitting or modifications
  • Normal wear and tear, such as scratches to the finish
  • Damage from leaking or incorrect batteries, or from cleaning with solvents or abrasives

How to make a claim

  1. Email info@grisoll.com with your order number, the model, and a short description, photo or video of the problem.
  2. We'll help you troubleshoot first. Many issues are fixed with a reset, recalibration or fresh batteries.
  3. If the lock is faulty, we'll send a replacement part or a replacement lock, or arrange a repair. We cover the delivery costs for valid claims.

Your legal rights

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, and doesn't replace or limit them. In the EU, sellers are responsible for goods that don't conform to the contract for at least 2 years from delivery. In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. For returns and refunds, see our Refund Policy.

Keep a backup entry method

Every Grisoll lock includes mechanical backup keys, and most models have an emergency USB power port. Keep your keys somewhere safe and accessible, not near the door, so you can always get in.
